Presenting Questions

The groups come one by one to the centre to present their questions:

Group1

- There are more concerns than questions. How available would be the contact for research? Would supervisor help us to get in touch with the field? What kind of feedbacks are we going to have on the drafts?

Group2

- How many times can we change the dissertation topic? Statistical analysis, who is going to be available to help us on this? The 2 copies for Feb, what does really entail? Any ideas for grants for research? Availability for June?

Group3

- This is a bit similar… How do we decide supervisor? How to get data? Where from? How do we deal with the situation if we don’t have the supervisor we wish? How to know which references are good once? How to get an extension of deadline?

Group4

- We have 3 broad questions: How to narrow down a general theme that I’m interested in? What do you want? Want us to show that we can do research? But what is the place for expression and exploration?

Group5

- Do we have to go to a supervisor knowing what we want to do? Is there funding available? How to approach organisations? Why are there so few supervisors interested in organisational questions? How to make decisions in terms of methodology?

Group6

- What to expect from the relationship with the supervisor? How to know that the supervisor is willing to work on the topic? Availability during summer?
