Views
The
Amfilissos River rises in the southern slopes of the
Ambelos Mountain
it
flows through a gorge near Pyrgos, and then through hilly
terrain,
where it is joined by many tributaries before reaching the
sea at Balos.
The
villages of Koumeika, Neochori and Skoureika occupy key
locations in this terrain:
