Jubilee Picture Books from
the Second Workshop
Students in
Jubilee Primary School Year Five made five picture books
during the Second Spritivity Wokshop on May 11th 2007.
These picture books are:

Battle for Friendship is a
picture book with special characteristics as one of the
students who helped to make it is blind, and so the main
sprites in the book have special tactile properties, as
well as visual properties, so a blind person can identify
them as they appear on each page of the book. Specifically:
The Professor has cotton wool hair, The Bench has a sticky
cord frame and the Car has a green velcro patch on its
side. Unfortunately, we cannot yet demonstrate these
tactile qualities very well on a
website.
We translated the text in
