Benefits
(i) PARTICIPATION IN RESEARCH WITH THE LSE COMPLEXITY GROUP: We work collaboratively with individual partners on specific projects. The Research Partners benefit both from the research process in which they participate, and from the overall findings, which incorporate work undertaken with other Research Partners. (ii) NETWORKING: Research Partners are invited to Consortium meetings, which enable them to meet the other Research Partners, as well as selected organisations with a strong interest in complexity. The Consortium meetings help the members learn from, and support each other, in using the principles of complexity within their organisations. (iii) 'TRAINING': Individual Partners will be helped to develop 'complexity thinking' within their own organisation. The LSE Group will organise and run workshops for management teams, to introduce them to the principles of complexity. Complexity workshops are not limited to introducing complexity thinking or to specific projects, but are applicable to all areas of operation, and in particular to strategic thinking. (iv) MENTORING: The Programme Director or another member of the LSE Complexity Group will subsequently act as 'coach' or 'mentor' in helping the team apply the principles within their specific organisational context. (v) NEW PROJECTS: We will also explore new projects with our Research Partners to cover specific areas of interest. (vi) ACCESS TO FINDINGS: Research Partners involved in specific projects will have priority on the research findings from that project. All Research Partners will have access to the findings of all projects prior to publication.
