Professor Jeffrey Johnson
is Professor of Complexity Science and Design at the Open University. He has
researched both physical and human complex systems, and the interactions between
them. With Dr Hirst he organised a nationwide children’s robot design
competition with the BBC Blue Peter television programme, and is one of the
founders of the international RoboCupJunior movement in which includes children
creating robots that dance. He believes that robotics will play a major role in
the development of the science of complex systems. |
