International Conference on Creativity and Innovation in Decision Making and Decision Support (CIDMDS 2006)


Venue

London, the home of CIDMDS2006, does not require introduction: it is one of the major European capital cities, with a rich past and history which should inspire contributors to endeavour to take research in the Decision Making and Decision Support areas to a new dimension.

The conference will take place at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which is located at the Aldwych in Central London: near the River Thames and midway between the City (the financial capital) and the Houses of Parliament at Westminster with plenty of accommodation nearby.

  • Conference registration and the plenary sessions will be in LSE’s Hong Kong Theatre on the ground floor of Clement House (LSE building D) Most of the conference parallel sessions and workshops will also be located in rooms in Clement House.
    • Details are given in the conference programmes

  • The welcome reception on 28 June will be located in Box Innovation at LSE on the fifth floor of the LSE Tower 3.

  • The doctoral consortium will take place in the Robinson Room Suite which is on the third floor of the Old Building (LSE building A)

  • Lunch on 29th and 1st July will be in D202 on the second floor, Clement house (LSE Building D)
  • The Thames cruise and conference dinner on 30 June will be on the Thames riverboat Naticia, departing from Embankment pier. Click here to download a map. You should be on the pier by 6.45pm for Boarding before 7pm. Charing Cross Pier is about 10 minutes’ walk from LSE.
