UK Children and Media Network Aims and Objectives

The U.K. Children and Media Network aims to provide a space in which academics, regulators and those working in the industry can engage in critical debate about children and the media.

In doing so it hopes to:

a) foster and develop innovative thinking about children and the media which crosses the academy, industry, regulatory bodies and government

b) make an informed contribution to policy on children and the media

c) provide a central locus for recent research literature, up to date survey results, and upcoming seminar and conference events
